Hi, I’m Joey! I am a Portland-based ceramic artist specializing in functional ceramics with rich surfaces and simple, balanced shapes designed for everyday use. My work is wheel-thrown and embraces subtle variation, layered glazes, and a relaxed approach to making. Inspired by time spent in France and the French Caribbean, my pieces draw from coastal light, shared meals, and the joy of well-made objects meant to be used and lived with.
